In this episode of Play the Ink, we have another interview by Zach Hale and Ian Hattwick in 2016 at CIRMMT (Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music, Media, and Technology) with David Ogborn. David Ogborn is an artist programmer and artist researcher, committed to unfolding the potential for algorithms and computation to be sites of play, curiosity, and collaboration. He is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies & Media Arts at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. He is a founding member of McMaster’s Cybernetic Orchestra (a live coding laptop orchestra continuously active since 2010) and half of the duo very long cat (with tabla player Shawn Mativetsky).

Ian Hattwick is an artist, musician, and engineer with a special interest in performance and interaction. He teaches Music Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
